MAVERICKS SPOIL DRAGONS' FINAL HOME PARTY WITH SWEEP

Minnesota State University, Mankato spoiled the final 2008 home appearance for Minnesota State University Moorhead on Tuesday with a 25-19, 25-14, 25-22 sweep in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference volleyball affair at Alex Nemzek Hall. Cathy Turner led the Dragons with 11 kills while Leigh Splittstoesser recorded 32 assists. MSUM, 16-14 overall and 10-8 in the NSIC, closes the season at Augustana (Friday) and Wayne State (Saturday).
