DRAGONS SHADE 'CATS IN NSIC HOOPFEST OPENER

Minnesota State Moorhead scrambled from a late six-point hole to pin a 66-63 loss on Wayne State College on Saturday night at the NSIC Hoopfest in Sioux Falls, SD. MSUM stretched its seasonal win streak to five straight with the non-conference victory at the Elmen Center. Junior Alison Nash-Gerlach topped the Dragon scoring leaderboard with 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds as well. Freshman Angie Jetvig added 16 points and senior Chris Falzon scored 10. MSUM, 5-0 overall and attracting votes on the latest NCAA II national poll, meets Augustana College at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
