ST. PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota State University Moorhead junior right side hitter,
Laura Tvrdik was named a member of the first team All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced Tuesday by the league offices.
Tvrdik currenlty stands sixth in the conference in hitting percentage with a .326 average in league play. She has charted 173 kills in conference action over 58 sets played. Overall this season she has tallied 313 kills with a .333 hitting percentage. Defensively, she is third in blocks for the Dragons with nine solo and 73 assisted for a season total of 82. She is also third on the team in assists with 34.
The Dragons and Tvrdik will play this evening at Minnesota State Mankato at 7 p.m. on the road before returning home to host the final regular season matches on Friday and Saturday.
