Dragons Fall to Golden Bears

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons were topped 3-0 by the Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Bears clinched their fourth consecutive NSIC title with the win, holding their undefeated record of 30-0 overall, 19-0 in conference. The Dragons sit at 20-10 overall with a 10-7 conference tally.
Emily Palkert and Sadie Kessler led the Golden Bears with a combined 23 kills hitting .458 and .500, respectively in the match.
The Dragons had 18 total kills in the match, with Laura Tvrdik leading the team with 8. The team also had 14 block assists, with Kristen Kleven marking five at the net.
MSUM will travel to Mankato on Tuesday to face Minnesota State University Mankato at 7 p.m. in league action.
