Kari Sagehorn scatted three hits while three different Dragons provided a pair of hits each as MSU Moorhead blanked Northern State 8-0 in the opening game of  a Sunday Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader. The second game at soggy Players Field was cancelled. Amanda Hoefer, Casey Lindseth and Casey Preston each had two hits, including a triple from Preston. Sagehorn struck out eight and walked only two. MSUM, 9-24 overall and 5-14 in the NSIC, closes the 2009 season with league doubleheaders at Augustana College (Tuesday) and Wayne State (Wednesday).
