DRAGONS SPIKE WESTERN STATE FOR 1ST WIN

The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons notched the first win of the 2009 campaign today. The 3-0 victory came against Western State of Colorado in the 2009 Holiday Inn Denver West Village Oredigger Volleyball Classic.
The eight team tournament is being hosted by the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
Throughout the tournament MSUM will play five schools from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. These head to head matchups will play an important role in regional rankings as the season unfolds.
The Dragons are back in action tomorrow at 1 p. m. when they take on Mesa State and at 5:30 p. m. against Fort Lewis.
