SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Minnesota State Moorhead golf team has a lot of ground to make up after the first day of competition at the Augustana Fall Invitational as they trail the leaders by 61 shots.
The Dragons have a total score of 368, 84 over par to put them in eighth place of nine teams at the invite. Concordia University St. Paul leads the field with a score of 307, just 23 shots over par.

Chelsey Ouren is the only Dragon among the top 30 golfers, she is nine strokes back from the leader, with an 83, resulting in a 12 over par first round. CU's Amanda Bearson is shooting near even, three strokes over par with a score of 74.
The Dragons will hit the links again on Sunday in the final day of the invite, with golf beginning at 10 a.m.
