Athletics Director Doug Peters Announces the Non-Renewal of Coach Stu Engen's Contract

MOORHEAD, Minn. - Athletics Director Doug Peters announced on Thursday that Stu Engen’s contract will not be renewed for the 2010-11 season. Engen served as MSUM’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach for eight seasons.
“We have chosen to go in a new direction,” Peters said. “We wish Coach Engen and his family well and appreciate the service he has provided our University. ”
The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons athletics department will begin the process of filling the head men’s basketball coach position immediately.
