MOORHEAD, Minn. – Two Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon track athletes are gearing up for a chance to compete on college's biggest stage, the NCAA National D-II Indoor Track Championships. Anthony Enyi and Anna VanWechel were the two qualifiers that will be representing the Dragons in the upcoming event.

Enyi, a junior at MSUM, qualified for the NCAA National Indoor Track and Field Championships in the weight throw event. His mark of 19.52 meters (64' 0.5”) landed him the ninth overall qualifying spot out of a total of twelve available spots.  The number one qualifier, Jason Stomps (Hillsdale College, MI) qualified with a throw of 21.39 meters.

VanWechel, also a junior on the Dragon track and field team was an automatic qualifier for the NCAA National Indoor Track and Field Championships. Her time of 4:55.70 in the mile run was good enough to rank her amongst the top 14 athletes (in the mile run) in the nation. She is currently seeded at the eleventh position out of a possible 14.
