MOORHEAD, Minn. – Minnesota State University Moorhead football student-athletes report on Wednesday, Aug. 4 for the 2010 season. They will begin a series of meetings on Wednesday and will have their first official practice on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 3:30 p.m. on the Dragons practice field.

The Dragons will be guided by first-year Head Coach Joel Beard into the 93rd season of collegiate football. The team will return 17 starters and 40 letterwinners to the 2010 roster, including team MVP Jake Larsen. The roster features 40 freshmen, 22 sophomores, 24 juniors and eight seniors.

MSUM will open the 2010 season against Missouri Southern (Joplin, Mo.) on Aug. 26 at 6 p.m.
