MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Dragon volleyball team will open the 2010 season at the Oredigger Classic on Friday as they will play four games in the tournament hosted by Colorado School of Mines.
MSU Moorhead will be guided by Head Coach Tammy Blake-Kath who led the Dragons to a 21-12 overall and an 11-9 league record in 2009.
The team returns four starters from the 2009 season, including outside hitter Laura Tvrdik, setter Leigh Splittstoesser, outside hitters Ashley Pyffereon and Heidi Lendsing. The team also returns the starting libero in Katy Ness.

The Dragons will open the 2010 season on Friday in an 12 p.m. match against
Regis (Colo.) and will folluw up with a 6:30 p.m. match against
Mesa State (Colo.).
The team will continue action in Colorado on Saturday at 11 a.m. with a contest against
Fort Lewis (Colo.) and will contineu at 3 p.m. against the host school (
Colo. Mines)/
