GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Competing in its exhibition opener, the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team fell to Division I foe North Dakota, 7-0 Friday night in Grand Forks, N.D.

MSUM lost the singles matches in straight sets, although Morgan Smith battled to a 6-0, 6-3 decision at No. 3 singles against UND's Sarah Stejskal.

The Dragons' regular-season opener is set for Feb. 3 vs. Upper Iowa in Minneapois, Minn.
