MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team is the NCAA Division II Statistical Champion for fewest fouls per game, it has been announced.
The Dragons led all of Division II -- out of a total of 286 teams -- in fewest fouls per game with 12.7. No other team had an average under 13.
MSUM also ranked eighth in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (10.9).
MSUM finished its 2012-13 campaign with a 19-11 mark and won its first-round Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament game over Southwest Minnesota State. The Dragons are 55-33 in three years under Coach
