won two events on the day in the throws. She won the shot put at 41-6 1/2 and won the hammer throw at 158-8.

MSUM went 1-2 in the 800-meter run. Sophomore Molly Montonye won the event at 2:18.31 with sophomore Emily Mammenga second at 2:22.85. Mammenga added a win in the 1,500-meter run at 4:54.79.

The Dragons swept the top five spots in the 5,000 meter run: freshman MaKenzie Smith won at 18:43 with senior Megan Ackerman was second at 19:13 with junior Savannah Link taking third at 19:33.49. senior Kelly Brammer was fourth at 19:59.13 with senior Elli Teige fifth at 20:12.05.

Junior Tia Knight won the 100-meter hurdles at 14:17 and was third in the 200-meter dash at 24.98.

For the Dragon men, junior Jonathan Demus won the 100-meter dash at 10.73 – fifth-fastest time in the NSIC this season -- and the 200-meter dash at 21.79, fourth-fastest in the NSIC this season.

Junior Jason Dowell won the 5,000-meter run at 15:37.96 with sophomore teammate Tyler Hennen second at 16:16.83.

Junior Nate Cole won the long jump at 20-7 with freshman Devin Strack second at 20-1. Cole was second in the triple jump at 42-1 with Strack third at 41-10.

Sophomore Andrew Werk won the shot put at 47-11 3/4.

Sophomore Jamison Gehrig was third in the 800-meter run at 2:00.53. Freshman Adam Hanson was third in the 110-meter hurdles at 16.31 while junior Jaden Radcliffe was third in the high jump at 6-0 1/2.

Dragon 4x400 Relay 4th at Drake Relays
The MSUM men's 4x400 relay capped off a solid week with a fourth-place finish in the college division at the prestigious Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday.

MSUM finished in fourth with a time of 3:12.21. That consisted of juniors Keith Turner, Ryan Olson, Kenny Andri and Matt Loehr.
The Dragon track and field teams will host the Ron Masanz Invitational on Saturday, May 3 at the Ron Masanz Track.
