Men's Heptathlon ResultsMOORHEAD, Minn. -- Senior
Jaden Radcliffe finished a solid sixth out of 15 competitors in the men's heptathlon at the multi-event portion of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Championships which concluded Monday in Mankato, Minn.
Radcliffe's effort gave the Dragon men three team points when the NSIC Indoor Championships resume on Feb. 26-27 in Mankato.
A Fargo, N.D., native, Radcliffe finished with 4,381 points and finished sixth after entering the day in that position. He recorded personal-bests in all seven of his events, including the three contested on Monday: 60-meter hurdles (9.60), pole vault (11-3 3/4) and 1,000 meters (2:48.72). Radcliffe's 1,000-meter time was fourth-best on Monday.
Concordia-St. Paul's Colin Goligoski won the event with 5,151 points.
Junior
Marshal Pederson placed 11th for MSUM (3,931 points) while sophomore
Mitchell Ruebke was 12th (3,920).
MSUM will have athletes compete at the Bemidji State twilight on Thursday and will also compete at the University of Minnesota on Friday (women only) and Saturday (men only).
