Brian Huber and the men's distance medley relay led the way for the Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams during Thursday's competition at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Championships in Mankato, Minn.

Thursday's competition.The Dragon men, who entered Thursday with three team points thanks to a sixth-place finish from senior
Jaden Radcliffe in the men's heptathlon, sit in second place with 40.5 points with one day of competition remaining while the women are in eighth with 18 points.
Klemetson became the first women's champion of the meet for the Dragons. She won the high jump with a personal-best effort of 5-8 3/4, which is tied for fifth-best in all of Division II. It is her sixth win of the indoor season.
Huber's outstanding indoor season continued as well as he claimed the title in the long jump with an effort of 23-6, which was less than three inches away from his season-best. Huber was fourth in the high jump as well with a height of 6-4.
The MSUM men's distance medley relay claimed the title with a time of 10:20.93. That consisted of senior
Jason Dowell, senior
Kenny Andri, junior
Jack Peterson and sophomore
Brady Speicher. That group claimed the win by more than two seconds over the Augustana DMR.
The Dragons placed three individuals in the top eight of the men's high jump. Huber was fourth at 6-4 while junior
Marshal Pederson tied for sixth at 6-4. Senior
Jaden Radcliffe was eighth at 6-4. Sophomore
Cody Christ was eighth in the 3,000-meter run in 8:37.06.
Junior
Andrew Werk had a personal-best throw of 59-4 3/4 to place a strong second in the men's weight throw.

Alissa Mears and junior
Molly Montonye, was second with a time of 12:07.89.
PrelimsThree Dragons qualified for the finals in the 400-meter run: senior
Ryan Olson (49.40), Loehr (50.21) and Andri (50.60). Olson's time was fastest, while Loehr's was third and Andri's was fourth.
Senior
Keith Turner qualified for the finals in the 600-meter run in 1:23.87, which was the second-fastest time. He ran a personal-best of 22.31 to advance in the 200-meter dash.
Senior
Jonathan Demus qualified for the finals in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.96. Freshman
Josh Young was fourth in the 1,000-meter run prelims at 2:35.48. Speicher (4:28.77), Dowell (4:28.98) and junior
Tyler Hennen (4:31.39) all advanced to the men's mile.
Senior
Tia Knight qualified for the finals in all three of her events: the 60-meter hurdles (8.69), the 60-meter dash (7.77) and the 200-meter dash (25.80).
Sophomore
Alissa Mears was third in the 800-meter prelims (2:18.96) to advance in that event.
Emily Mammenga (3:00.32) advanced to the finals in the 1,000-meter run. Montonye advanced to the finals in the mile with a time of 5:19.32.
