Molly Montonye and senior
Chelsea Klemetson both earned All-American honors in their events on Saturday at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
The top eight individuals in each event earned All-American honors.
Montonye earned All-American honors in the women's mile, the second All-American honor of her career. Montonye ran a personal-best time for a second straight day in the event, finishing in 4:52.67 to finish the event in sixth place. She finished just 1.56 seconds out of second. Montonye earned All-American honors in the 1,500 meters (outdoors) in 2014.
Klemetson earned All-American honors in the women's high jump. She finished in a tie for seventh with a jump of 5-6 to capture the honor, which is the first of her Dragon career. Klemetson is a two-time national qualifier for MSUM, having qualified for the outdoor nationals in 2014.
The MSUM men's 4x400 relay team finished 11th in 3:15.74. That consisted of senior

Dragon track and field is scheduled to open the outdoor season on March 27-28 at the Washington Invitational in St. Louis, Mo.
