MOORHEAD, Minn.--Minnesota State University Moorhead Athletics will host the #DragonsMarchOn Party at 9 p.m. on Sunday to honor Dragon student athletes who have received all-conference honors or qualified for national competition in the recent weeks. The party is open to the public and will be in Nemzek Fieldhouse.

In addition, the postseason fate of the No. 5 Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team (32-3) will be determined during the #DragonsMarchOn Party. The 2014-15 NCAA Division II men's basketball tournament selection show will begin at 9:30 p.m. Sunday night and will be shown on the Nemzek Fieldhouse video board.

The two-time defending Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division Champion Dragons will enter the NCAA Tournament for the second time under the direction of head coach
Chad Walthall. In 2012, MSUM defeated Southwest Minnesota State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to Colorado School of Mines one night later.

MSUM, who has already set school single season records for wins (32) and conference wins (20), have not been ranked lower than No. 2 in the NCAA Division II men's basketball regional rankings. The Dragons were ranked No. 5 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Top-25 poll, released on Tuesday.

Aaron Lien, and Walthall were all given all-conference honors last week after helping MSUM experience its most successful season in school history. Riewer was named Co-Player of the Year and Walthall was named Coach of the Year. Riewer and Sevlie received first team all-conference honors while Lien was second team.

Free "March On" T-shirts will be distributed to individuals who attend the viewing party, limited quantity available. Dragons fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #DragonsMarchOn to support Dragon student athletes as they compete at the national level in the upcoming weeks.

Events leading up to the selection show will include promotional prizes and recognition of track and field, wrestling, swimming and diving, men's basketball, and women's basketball student athletes who have recently won awards or qualified for national competition in their respective sports.

Five members of the men's/women's track and field team will compete in the NCAA Division II National Indoor Championships, scheduled for March 13-14 in Birmingham, Ala. Senior
Ryan Olson qualified in the 400-meter dash and is a part of the 4x400 relay team that will also compete. Senior

Blake Bosch will wrestle in the NCAA Division II wrestling championships, set for March 13-14 in St. Louis, Mo. Bosch, who is 25-9 on the season and finished third in the Super Region 3 last weekend in Mankato, Minn., will face Jordan Gurrola of San Francisco State in the first round of the 133-pound class.

Two divers from the women's swimming and diving team will compete in the pre-qualifying round of the NCAA Championships on Mar. 10 in Indianapolis, Ind. Junior
Emily Pascavis and sophomore Amanda Grobener will make the trip to Indianapolis. Junior
Jana Hedstrom qualified, but will not compete due to having her appendix removed last week.

Two women's basketball student-athletes took home all-conference honors, announced on Feb. 26. Junior
Meghan Roehrich was named to the NSIC First Team after averaging 17.5 points per game in conference play, third-best in the league. Freshman
Drew Sannes was named to the All Freshman Team after averaging 7.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game in her debut campaign.
