Ryan Olson and the men's 4x400 relay team will represent the Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field program at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, which begin on Friday in Birmingham, Ala.

For the Dragon women, senior
Tia Knight (60-meter hurdles) and junior
Molly Montonye (mile) are making their second straight trip to the indoor nationals meet, while senior
Chelsea Klemetson (high jump) and sophomore
Alissa Mears (800-meter run) are at the nationals for a first time.
Olson is a multi-time national qualifier as part of relays. He will run in the 400-meter dash and also will be joined by senior
Keith Turner, junior
Kenny Andri and senior
Matt Loehr on the Dragons' 4x400 relay that will compete.
The top eight finishers in each event earn All-American honors.
Knight s seeded fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.53, which was the winning time for her at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 28. She will run in the prelims of that event at 3 p.m. on Friday.
Montonye is headed to the indoor nationals for a second straight year in the mile. She was All-NSIC in that event and is seeded 11th with a time of 4:56.02. Montonye will compete in the prelims at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Mears will make her first trip to nationals in the 800-meter run. She is seeded 16th in that event at 2:12.27. The 800-meter prelims are set for 5:35 p.m. on Friday.
Klemetson qualified in the high jump with a height of 5-8 3/4. She also won that event at the NSIC Indoor Championships. She is seeded eighth going into the meet at 5-8 3/4 and will compete at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Olson qualified in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.22. He is seeded 16th in that event, which will have its prelims at 5:20 p.m. on Friday.
Olson, Turner, Loehr and Andri all qualified as part of the Dragons' 4x400 relay. That relay is seeded sixth at 3:12.74 and will be the final event of the championships on Saturday at 6:35 p.m.
