Meet WebsiteMeet ScheduleLive ResultsMOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams are back in action this week at the Vance Butler Invitational in Sioux Falls, S.D, which begins with the hammer throw on Thursday and continues with a full day of events on Friday.
The event, which is hosted by Augustana College, will be held at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The invitational will mark the first full-team event of the outdoor season for MSUM, which sent a small contingent of athletes to the Washington Invitational last weekend in St. Louis, Mo.

The MSUM men finished with three wins for the meet while freshmen
Caroline Jansen and
Mady Vaudrin earned wins for the women. Despite taking a small contingent of athletes to the meet, the MSUM men finished in fifth place (out of 28 teams)with 65 points while the women were eighth out of 26 teams with 43.
Redshirt freshman
Brian Huber had a strong day, recording three top three finishes. He won the long jump in 22-3 3/4, placed second in the 200-meter dash in 22.09 and took third in the high jump at 6-6.
Senior
Ryan Olson also had a good showing. He won the 400-meter dash in 48.99 and took third in the 200-meter dash in 22.10. Senior
Spencer Ruebke won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:26.95. The Ada, Minn., native claimed the win by nearly nine seconds.
Vaudrin led the way for the Dragon women as she won the 100-meter dash in 12.80. Jansen won triple jump win during the opening day with a mark of 36-7 3/4.
