Meet ResultsMOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams claimed five wins at the Cobber Twilight meet, which was hosted by Concordia College on Tuesday.
With a limited contingent of athletes competing, MSUM's teams were third at the meet. The women finished third out of seven teams with 68 points while the men finished third out of five teams at 77. The Dragons' distance runners did not compete at the meet.
The Dragon women won three events. Freshman
Judith Robinson won the 100-meter dash in 12.56 while senior
Tia Knight won the 200-meter dash in 25.07.
The MSUM 4x100 relay competed uncontested and ran a time of 48.97. That consisted of Knight, junior
Jasmine Nelson, freshman
Mady Vaudrin and Robinson.
Sophomore
Iveta Harner was second in the 800-meter run in 2:19.63.
MSUM's 4x100 men's relay was victorious in 42.32. That consisted of junior
Charles Tiedman,junior
Jordan Pangerl, senior
Matt Loehr and redshirt freshman
Brian Huber. That time is ranked fourth in the NSIC this season.
Freshman
Steve Seyram Adjokatcher won the triple jump at 44-0 with
Nate Cole second at 42-11 3/4. Senior
Ryan Olson was second in the 400-meter dash in 48.53, which was just .42 seconds away from a season-best.
MSUM will host the Ron Masanz Classic on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
Matt Loehr was part of the winning 4x100 relay team.
