Meet ResultsFARGO, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's track and field team claimed three wins at the Bison Classic hosted by North Dakota State on Saturday in Fargo, N.D. The Dragon women were led by solid showings from their distance runners.
No team scores were kept. It was the first full-team event of the indoor season for the Dragons.
Sophomore
Brian Huber had a strong showing. He set a new school indoor record in the long jump with a winning effort of 24-11, which is second-best in Division II so far this season. Huber also tied for second in the high jump at 6-6.
Junior
Brady Speicher won the mile in 4:14.52, which after converted for track size, is third-best in the nation.
Senior
Kenny Andri won the 400-meter dash in 49.77.
Sophomore Steve Adjokatcher was fourth in the triple jump in 45-7 1/4.
Senior
Molly Montonye and freshman
Marissa Carlson paced the Dragon women with third-place finishes. Montonye was third in the mile in 5:00.40, which after being adjusted for track size, is fourth-best in Division II.
Carlson was third in the 800-meter run in 2:18.33 with junior
Alissa Mears fourth in 2:18.37.
Sophomore
Mindy Kraft was fourth in 3,000 in 10:51.12. Sophomore
Bailey Reiner was fourth in the long jump in 17-10 3/4.
Freshman Ki'Arah Johnson was fifth in the 60 in 7.89.
MSUM is scheduled to compete at the South Dakota State Invitational on Friday in Brookings, S.D.
