FARGO, N.D. – Senior
Emily Mammenga's win in the 3,000-meter run led the way for the Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams at the Lyle Hokanson Classic on Saturday in Fargo, N.D.
Mammenga won the 3,000 with a time of 10:29.38, winning the race by more than four seconds over South Dakota State's Emily Berzonsky.
Sophomore
Mindy Kraft was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:40.53.
MSUM's 4x100 relay was third in 49.05. That consisted of freshman Ki'Arah Johnson, sophomore
Judith Robinson, junior
Katie Holzheimer and sophomore
Caroline Jansen.
Jansen and sophomore
Bailey Reiner tied for fourth in the long jump at 5.47.
Johnson was fifth in the 100 in 12.59, while Robinson was sixth in the 200 in 25.48. Jansen was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.38.
For the Dragon men, junior
Devin Strack was third in the triple jump at 13.64. Junior
Brandon Selbig was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:46.65
Senior
Jordan Pangerl was fifth in the 200-meter dash in 22.64 while junior
Adam Hanson was fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.94.
The next meet on the schedule is the Cobber Twilight on Tuesday. MSUM also has the Drake Relays on the schedule, which are set for April 27-30 in Des Moines, Iowa.
