WBCA Preseason Poll
MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team has been ranked 19th in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association NCAA Division II preseason coaches' poll. This is the 12th straight poll that the Dragons have been ranked in the Top 25 dating back to early Jan. 2017.

Defending national champion Ashland is ranked first, while Virginia Union is ranked second. Harding, Alaska Anchorage, and Colorado State-Pueblo round out the top-five.

MSUM is the lone school from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference ranked in the top 25. Northern State is receiving votes in the preseason poll.

The Dragons will finish their exhibition schedule on Sunday when they travel to Iowa City, Iowa, to face their second consecutive Division I opponent, the Iowa Hawkeyes. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Carver Hawkeye Arena.
