MOORHEAD, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis coach Oliver Summers has announced the signing of Rachel Nguyen of Westminster, Colo., for the 2018-19 season.

Nguyen is a senior at Stanley Lake High School and will complete her senior season this spring.

Nguyen is a three-time all-conference selection, three-time MVP, Jefferson County girls tennis 4A MVP and was a 2017 team captain. She has a record of 32-2 since her freshman captain.  She will be a four-year letterwinner in tennis.

"Rachel's record is very impressive, her strokes are smooth and fluid," Summers said. "I think she's going to make an instant impact on our team and allow us to compete with the best teams in our conference."
