MOORHEAD, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis coach Oliver Summers has announced that Emma Andersen of Santa Ana, Calif., for the 2018-19 year.

Andersen is in the midst of an outstanding career at Foothill High School in Santa Ana, Calif.  She has a career record of 100-25. Andersen went 32-5 in 2017 and 31-5 in 2016.  She won 2017 Michael Chang High School Division Tournament and served as a team captain. In 2016 Andersen was named first-team all-league in 2016. She is a four-year letterwinner.

"Out of all the recruits I've had, Emma has probably played the most matches and tournaments of all of them," Summers said. "She's not afraid to compete, and has continued to improve over the last few years. Her work ethic and match toughness will prove to be a major asset for our team."
