MANKATO, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams picked up four more All-NSIC honors at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Championships which concluded on Saturday in Mankato, Minn. The Dragon men finished tied for seventh with 45 points while the women were ninth at 37.
For the men, junior
Josh Young picked up a pair of All-NSIC honors. He was second in the 1,000-meter run in 2:32.26 and placed second in the mile in 4:10.86.
Junior
Brian Huber, who won the long jump on Friday, was third in the 200 in 22.27 to earn All-NSIC honors.
Freshman
Zach Sweep was fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.33. Freshman
Cody Gagner was fourth in the 800 in 1:56.10. Sophomore
Evan Carlson was eighth in the 400 in 50.90 which was a personal best.
Senior
Alissa Mears picked up All-NSIC honors in the 800-meter run in 2:14.47 to lead the Dragon women.
Junior
Caroline Jansen had a solid all-around meet. She was fourth in the triple jump at 11.75 and Jansen was eighth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.97. Including her finish in the heptathlon, she scored 11 points at the meet.
The women's 4x400 relay was fifth in 3:58.58. That consisted of freshman
Summer Storm, junior
Iveta Harner, sophomore
Judith Robinson and Mears.
Sophomore
Marissa Carlson was sixth in the 1,000-meter run in 3:03.76 while junior
Mary-Bianca Fuller was sixth in 13.28
Junior
Emily Waletzko was sixth in the weight throw at 16.63 which was a provisional toss.
