In the Wolves, 25-11 set one victory, an early Dragon attacking error set Northern State up for a nine-point rally leaving MSUM unable to catch up. In the second set the Wolves were up 18-8 when the Dragons earned four consecutive points. However, it wasn't enough to break NSU's lead and they eventually won the set, 25-16.
The Dragons kept set three closer in the beginning, leading 4-3 but two kills by Northern State and an attacking error by Jenkins help the Wolves regain their lead and they took the final set 25-16.
