FARGO, N.D. — Wins by senior
Kiarah Johnson and sophomore
Logan Storm led the way for the Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams at the Dakota Classic hosted by North Dakota State on Friday in Fargo, N.D. The meet was the beginning of the 2018-19 indoor season for the Dragons.
Johnson won the women's 60-meter dash in 7.96 and was second in the 200-meter dash in 26.13.
Storm won the men's pole vault at 15-2 1/4.
Senior
Emily Waletzko recorded an NCAA provisional toss in the weight throw at 55-8 1/2. She finished only behind Division I competitors from NDSU.
Freshman
Caitlin Pritchett was second in the women's high jump at 5-2 1/4. Sophomore
Chris Cook is second in the men's high jump at 6-6.
Sophomore
Jacob Minnick finished second in the men's heptathlon with 4,580 points.
MSUM's 4x400 relay was second at 3:32.32. That consisted of senior
Evan Carlson, freshman
Ty Dawkins, senior
Ryan Kalinowski and sophomore
Abs Njai.
Sophomore
Jennicca Leier was third in the 60 in 8.15 and added a third in the 200 at 27.57. Freshman
Tessa Schroeder was third in the triple jump at 34-10 1/4
