Region Rankings
MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team is ranked fourth in the latest Central Region Rankings released on Wednesday.
MSUM, which was ranked third last week, is 22-4 overall record. The Dragons shared the NSIC title with Augustana and Northern State.
Southwestern Oklahoma State remains in the first spot in the rankings, followed by Central Missouri (20-2) and Northern State (23-4). MSUM is fourth, Augustana (23-3) is fifth, Pittsburg State is sixth at 20-5, Central Oklahoma is seventh at 20-6 and Nebraska-Kearney is eighth.
Wayne State (Neb.) is ninth followed by Arkansas Tech.
The winners of the NSIC, MIAA and GAC tournaments receive automatic bids to the NCAA tournament. Five at-large berths are available.
MSUM will host Southwest Minnesota State tonight at 7 p.m. to open NSIC/Sanford Health tournament play.
