Kari Peterson-- Intramural and Club Sports Director
Kari, a product of Moorhead, Minnesota, received her Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College in Exercise Science and Fitness Managerment. Peterson completed her graduate studies in the Recreation Management Graduate Department at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, a Nationally Accredited Recreation Management progam. Peterson brings to MSU-Moorhead over 10 years of collegiate sport managament and recreational programming exprience. She is CPR/AED and First Aid Certified and holds a professional membership to NIRSA, the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association.
Natasha Howard-- Intramural and Club Sports Graduate Assistant
Natasha is originally from the small town of Wilton, North Dakota. She is currently in her second and final year of graduate school pursuing a Masters in Speech Pathology. Natasha has worked at Dragon Intramurals since February 2008 and has enjoyed every minute of it. Sports, music, and spending time with friends and family are just a few of her interests.
Darac Peters-- Sports Coordinator/Desk Worker
Darac has lived his entire life in West Fargo, North Dakota. He is currently in his second year working towards a Biology Degree with emphasis in Health and Medical. He is a second degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and spends his summers life guarding at the West Fargo Veteran's Memorial Pool. Darac has been a part of the Intramural crew since October 2010. Darac has recently become First Aid/CPR/AED instructor certified.
Mara Wessel-- Sports Coordinator/Desk Worker
Mara is a Senior majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Her hometown is Sauk Centre, MN. Mara is currently a Student Orientation Counselor on campus. Some of her interests include, music, softball, being outdoors and talking to people. Mara has been a member of the Dragon Intramural team since December 2010.
Jessie Schwanke-- Sports Coordinator/Desk Worker
Jessie is from the teeny tiny town of Maddock, North Dakota. She is a senior majoring in Elementary Education, but will not be graduating after this year. Jessie has been participating in intramurals since 2009, and has been part of the staff since January 2011. She is an RA in Ballard and the treasurer for Nemzek Noize. Some of her interests are playing and watching sports (especially volleyball), music, reading, and anything outdoors. Fun fact, she also likes to collect tins!
Wassim Aldrees-- Sports Coordinator/Desk Worker
Wassim has recently joined our staff! He brings a ton of energy to our program, and will primarily be working with our soccer program and special events!
Annie Palmquist-- Desk Worker
Annie is a Junior majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Health and Medical. She is from a tiny town in the North West woods of Grantsburg, WI and yes, she will only eat Wisconsin cheese! She is an outside hitter for the MSUM volleyball team and loves every minute of it. This is her first year working with us and primarily works in the Intramural & Club Sports Office, but also assists with special events. She also recently became a certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. Some of her hobbies are bird watching (she has the entire midwest bird book memorized), kayaking, hiking, and doing arts and crafts.
Olivia de Gruchy-- Sports Coordinator/Desk Worker
Olivia primarily works our security desk and special events. She is also a member of the MSUM Swim Team.
Amber Krenske-- Sports Coordinator/Desk Worker
Amber is a freshman here at MSUM, and plans on majoring in exercise science to pursue a career in physical therapy. She grew up in Faribault, MN, graduating from their high school this past spring. She played volleyball and fastpitch in school and on club teams. She is currently a member of the dragon volleyball team, and this is her first year on the MSUM intramural staff.
Alecs Peters-- Desk/Worker and Media/Promotions
Alecs has lived her entire life in West Fargo, North Dakota. She is a freshmen this year working towards a degree in mass communications with an emphasis in photojournalism . She is a second degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and runs her own photography business. She spends her summers life guarding at the West Fargo Veteran's Memorial Pool.
Kelsey Hennessy-- Office Assistant
Kelsey Hennessy graduate assistant for the volleyball team. Graduated from the University of Mary in 2010 with a degree in business administration emphasis in management. In my first year of the Educational Leadership program at MSUM.
