Ulmer used his tough ground game, taking down Wright in both the first and third periods, riding out Wright through out the remainder of each period. Ulmer also gained a reversal in the second after choosing the bottom position. Ulmer capped off the match with a riding time total of 3:42 to earn a 7-0 decision. This was Ulmer's sixth shutout this year and his second in his last three matches. Ulmer has not lost since Jan. 8 against No. 3 ranked 125-pounder Russell Weakley of North Carolina-Pembroke.
