Bob Jones is in his second season as the head volleyball coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball program in 2022. He served as the program's top assistant coach from 2016-19. 

Jones was the coach for the 2020 season which was cancelled because of Covid-19.

In the first season under the direction of Jones, MSUM went 5-23 on a team that featured only one senior. Junior outside hitter Amanda Carlson was named All-NSIC 2nd Team.

Prior to arriving at MSUM, the native of Anaheim, Calif., spent the previous 17 seasons as the top assistant coach at Concordia-Moorhead and helped the Cobbers develop into a premier Division III program.  He coached three MIAC MVPs and several All-Americans and all-conference players.

Prior to his time at Concordia, Jones was an assistant coach at North Dakota State from 1994-99.

Jones is a 1986 graduate of Chapman College (Calif.) and attended graduate school at the University of Wyoming.
