Katelyn Tallas joined the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer coaching staff in Jan. 2017.
A native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, Tallas played at North Dakota State from 2010-13. She scored 11 career goals and finished with 26 points. She was part of the 2010 Bison squad that advanced to the NCAA tournament.
She was recognized as a Distinguished Scholar and named to the Summit League Academic Honor Roll and the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence in 2012 and 2013.Â
Prior to her career at NDSU, Tallas was a member of the Canadian National Training Center (NTC). She also competed as a member of the Alberta Provincial Team, also representing her province at the 2009 Canada Summer Games.Â

Tallas completed her bachelor's degree In Human Development & Family Science at North Dakota State in 2014, and is currently finishing a post-baccalaureate degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences here at Minnesota State University Moorhead.Â
