Graduate of Ortonville High School…Played linebacker and halfback at Moorhead State Teachers College in 1955-56…Coached 32 seasons of high school football, collected 166 career victories…Led Park Rapids High School to four Mid-State Conference football titles and produced five all-state players…Coached 23 years in track, led Panthers to 1967 Minnesota State True Team Championship…Developed 50 conference track champions and 12 state place winners…Also active as a wrestling official.
