MSU Moorhead Athletics

A native of Waukegan, Illinois, Bob was a NCAA Division I runner-up at heavyweight in 1964 and 1966. He has the distinction of having stopped Syracuse legend Jim Nance’s unbeaten streak with an upset on ABC’s Wild World of Sports. Twice a NAIA national champion, Bob was a member of the Dragon’s 1964 NAIA National Championship Team. He is a member of the NAIA National Hall of Fame and is a career teacher and coach in Libertyville, Illinois.
