A native of Underwood, MN, Bricker was a rare three-sport letter winner in football, basketball and track. He led the football team in receiving all four years he played with 73 career receptions. He still holds the MSU season average (24.7) & career average (18.2) records for yards gained per catch. Bricker was an All-NSIC football pick as a senior, was a three-year basketball starter and an All-NSIC selection in 1968-69. He was also a sprinter in track.
