for the Dragons in the early 1960’s…Sparked Dragons’ to 31-14 romp
over North Dakota State University in 1963 with three touchdown receptions and 203 yards receiving, still a Dragon single game record…Three-time All-NIC choice (1961-63)… MVP of conference in 1963… Outstanding Senior Athlete in 1964…Became first Dragon to sign professional football contract, inked with Charleston Rockets of the Continental Football League in 1965.
