Two-time All-American (shot put and discus)…placed fourth in the shot put at NAIA Indoor Championships in 1986 and followed with a fifth-place finish in 1986 NAIA Outdoor Championships…two-time NIC Indoor Champion…two-time NIC Outdoor Champion…all-conference before indoors and outdoors in 1985-86…earned Most Valuable Freshman Award at MSU in 1983.
