Oceanside, NY native, member of celebrated Dragon Wrestling Program of the 1960s. Won NIC title at 115 pounds in 1969, placed second at 1969 NCAA Division I Nationals, fourth at 1965 NAIA Nationals, and fifth at 1969 NCAA Division I championships. Two-time Olympic Freestyle member in 1972 and 1976, number one alternate for 1972 Olympic team. Longtime teacher and coach in Rockaway, NJ.
