Native of Bismarck, ND, competed in both basketball and track at
Moorhead state…Named Dragons’ Outstanding Track and Field
Athlete in 1981…Three-Time Northern Sun Conference Outdoor
Champion...Placed fourth in the AIAW National Outdoor Champion-
ships in the Javelin as Junior and second as a Senior…Still
holds MSU outdoor records in both the shot put, 42-5 ½, and
Javelin, 161-0…Two-Time All Conference Basketball Pick
and Dragons’ MVP as a Senior… Scored 887 points in three seasons at state.
