A 1958 graduate of Moorhead State College and the heart of
the Dragon golf teams from 1955-58, Lyle Captured a batch of
medalist honors…He was a two-time North Dakota match play
champion, and five-time runner up…A national Publinx Qualifier
in 1958 and 1962, Lyle also won club championships at Moorhead,
Edgewood, Fargo and Oxbow Country Clubs…He coached Fargo South
High School boys to four state championships and Bruin women win
two titles…Lyle Played in 25 consecutive NDGA Match Play tournaments and 17 straight NDGA senior tournaments.
