MSU Moorhead Athletics

Greenbush native, named Outstanding Senior Athlete at MSUM in 1966. Played a prominent role on the Dragons’ rise to national wrestling prominence in the 1960s, never missed a meet or tournament. Fixture on the 1964 NAIA National Championship team. Four-time placewinner at the NAIA Nationals, finished second at 145 pounds at the 1965 NAIA Championships. Also won a pair of individual conference titles. Chartered successful teaching and coaching career in Iowa following Dragon days.
