Finished seventh at NAIA National Championships…three Dragon runners finished in the top 30: Julie Willoughby (23rd), Jane Remark (26th) and Angie Jungwirth (27th); Willoughby earned All-American honors, becoming the first Dragon woman to do so in cross country…team won District 13 title with perfect score of 15 points…also finished second in state meet…coached by Dragon Hall of Famer Randy Smith…team roster included Paula Behrendt, Denise Bower, Kari Brakke, Lori Bras, Traci Fie, June Strickland, LuAnn Flegel, Pam Harty, Shari Huck, Angie Jungwirth, Nancy Metcalf, Karina Mumm, Jacqui Newman, Jane Remark, Michelle Remme, Kay Schoening, Sara Sussenguth and Julie Willoughby
