SECOND HALF RALLY LIFTS DRAGONS TO WIN OVER BEAVERS ON OPENING NIGHT

A relentless rally lifted Minnesota State Moorhead to a 71-67 victory over Bemidji State on Opening Night in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference on Friday at Alex Nemzek Hall. Justyn Burgess produced a game high 26 points while Andrew Van Havermaet added 19 points. BSU led at the break, 35-29. MSUM, 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the NSIC, hosts Minnesota Duluth at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
