ST. PAUL, Minn. - Freshman forward
Jordyn Wallenborn was selected Monday as the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. It is her first honor and the team's first offensive player of the week this season.
Wallenborn tied a Minnesota State University Moorhead record as she booted a career-high four goals to lead the Dragons to a 5-3 win over the Wayne State Wildcats on Sunday. Wallenborn picked up nine points on the day as she also had an assist on the Dragon's game-winning goal that was kicked in from the right wing by
Katherine Adams.
She also scored both goals against Augustana on Saturday moving her team-high season total to 12.
Wallenborn and the Dragons will host Minnesota State University Mankato on Sat., Oct. 31 at 12 p.m. They will follow with their last regular season home game against Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
