Laura Tvrdik led the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons with 25 combined kills over the Cameron (Okla.) Aggies in the first game of the University of Nebraska-Ohama Classic on Friday, 3-0 (25-17, 25-11, 25-19).
The Dragons held the Aggies to a .041 hitting percentage and 24 kills in the impressive three-set victory. MSUM (8-2) earned its eighth win of the season while giving CC (7-2) their second loss of the year.
Lensing had 13 kills in the match, hitting .522 her season best. Tvrdik had 12 kills and continues to lead the team in blocks with two solos and two assisted in the match.
Leigh Splittstoesser had 38 assistsin the match and also led the team with 19 digs.
The Red and White will face Missouri University of Science and Technology at 4:45 on Friday.
