Andrew VanHavermaet was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball player of the week. This was announced Monday by the conference office.
Andrew VanHavermaet scored a career-high 30 points in the Dragons' win over the University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles on Saturday. He was 11-for-15 in the game and 8-of-12 from the three-point line. He was one three pointer shy of tying the single game record for three's made in a game. VanHavermaet scored four three-pointers in each half. He also had three rebounds and three assists.
The Dragons will host Winona State and Upper Iowa on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 22 and 23, respectively.
