MOORHEAD, Minn. - Key three-point shooting aided the Winona State Warriors over the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons as eight baskets fell from behind the three-point line to edge the home team by three, 68-65.

Despite shooting 100 percent from the free-throw line, the Dragons could not match the 47 percent that the Warriors shot from behind the arc that aided them to the win. The Warriors went 8-for-17 from the three-point line while the Dragons only sunk five of their 19 attempts.

Katie Wolff led the Warriors as she hit three three-pointers in the first three minutes of the game to set the tone. She ended the night with 20 points, 18 of which came off of three's.

The Warriors led by seen early in the game, 9-2, but the lead did not hold for long as theDragons came bak to take the tlead with under 10 minutes left in the first half. The lead would change multiple times until WSU took a 56-54 lead with six minutes left in the game. They would hold on to win, leading by as much as six in the final minutes.

Meghan Rettke led the field with 23 points as she marked her tenth double-double of the season with 10 rebounds. Alison Nash-Gerlach was one rebound away from a double-double, with nine boards she also tallied 16 points.

The Dragons move to 12-5 overall with a 6-4 mark in league play. The Warriors move to 12-6 overall with a 7-4 NSIC tally.
