ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The St. Cloud State Huskies topped the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon swimming and diving team in the season opening meet on Friday, 192-51.
Claire Caron recorded the only top finish for the Dragons on the day as she finished on top in the 400-yard individual medley in a time of 4:50.05. She topped her nearest competitor by over two seconds.
Jessica Doar took second in the 1650-yard freestyle as she finished in 18:46.84, 26 seconds behind the leader from SCSU. She also took second in the 500-yard freestyle as she finished the race in a time of 5:28.84.
The Dragons will compete in another meet against the Huskies on Saturday in St. Cloud, with events beginning at noon at Hallenbeck Hall on SCSU's campus.
